This is a cool app!

I really like this app because it recreates the vintage warm feeling of a record player. Only problem is... Some records came with more than one record in the sleeve and you cant play those other songs on this app. There has to be a feature that lets you play the other discs not just the first one.

I have 3800 songs downloaded in iTunes and not 1 of them is able to play. They say that are protected and not able to play. Save your money!!!

Its so detailed it even gets a little annoying haha! Great if you want to transform your ITunes library into a record collection BUT be warned this is if you want to turn it into a record collection as in the records get scratched,they stutter and hiccup some will get stuck etc. If you just want an app that gives your songs some pops and scratches theres plenty of free ones that do just that without the extra details

Needs "open in", access to pod casts and audiobus!

I love my digital collection, but often find myself skimming thru tunes at a rapid clip; sometimes not even listening to complete tracks. This app really makes me slow down and savour each tune - just like in the days of vinyl. It is a charming throwback. Future improvements would include the ability to play 78s, to play playlists as LPs, and a good ol fashioned 45 stacker for continuous play of a pile of singles.

I pretty much listen to all my music with this app. It would be fun to be able to create our own turntables with custom settings, such as amount of warping, dust, amount of mechanical noise and electrical humming. Maybe offer other turntables as well. All in all, love the app!

I love this app.Yet it needs an update with coloured vinyl and of course a Picture disc for album artworks from LPs that you download.

I want gapless playing mode. This app is very cool :)

Its really awesome!!! But will be perfect if youll add "full screen" button for iPhones.

This sh*! is accurate as hell. I love vinyl, and this is the closest you can get without actually having vinyl. WELL worth the 99 cents I paid!

I showed this to my grandma (40s record player) and she loves it which means this app its doing the job right :D

This is so cool! I never knew there was anything like this! Its literally like having all your music on vinyl! You can scratch the records all you want and just clean then right up, access your entire music Library, play LPs or singles... There are even pops and clicks, and a number of different record players to choose from. Simply amazing!

After this last update, this app is now 100% awesome! I love listening to Glenn Miller on the 1940s style player, with the crackle and the speed variance. Love everything about this app!

I cannot get enough of this app. I love how each turntable has its own character/sound.

A very awesome app thats perfect for music buffs.

Dont get me wrong, this is app is great. In fact, it could be used just to boost the sound quality of mp3s. The only problem is that they over emphasize the realism. If you move the needle while a record is playing, it makes this deafening, horrible, screeching sound. Also, they purposefully program it to skip once in a while! I have an old (1942) record player and when I actually play my old Ink Spots vinyl on it, it sounds nothing like the way they do on the apps version of a 40s era turntable. Hopefully theyll add an update where you can pick if you want skips/record scratching!

This app is now miles beyond the competition in the mock-turntable field. This is not some silly DJ toy, this is a full-blown music player with superb, warm tone, beautiful record label art, and that glorious vinyl crackle. Thank you, Elephant Candy, for making mp3s sound better than i ever thought they would; this app is worth buying an ipod touch for! UPDATE: This could still be better. I am not able to use it as my main player. Maybe thats not what Elephant Candy intended, but it is SOOO close right now! If only it didnt skip so much. Give me an option to turn of the skips from movement and scratches, and this is solid gold, better than any app priced 5x as much. Best idea ever: i also own Elephant Candys EQu app... give me the option to buy EQ settings for it that are used in Vinyl app. And of course, once you have seven turntables at your disposal, you are bound to wish you had MORE options.
